aerial roots on grape vine

Texan Gal

Yesterday I noticed these aerial roots on my black Spanish grape vine. It is ten years old, and never had something like this happen before! I have four of these vines, but this is the oldest, and the only one with this root issue on the main stem.

Should I be worried? Should I do something about it? Thanks for any advice or help!

Heather in Austin, Texas with gumbo clay soil. Grape area was amended with cotton burr compost and hardwood mulch. We use a soaker hose in area. Mulch is currently piled a bit to side, while I am putting limestone large rocks in to walk on.
