support for hyacinth bean

Hi there. I have several hyacinth beans that I'm ready to help climb somehow up the side of my porch. But I don't know how they support themselves as they climb. Will twine or fishing line work? I already have hooks at the top of the roof to receive the string if that's an option. The only time I've seen hyacinth beans grow is with strong support like a telephone pole or wooden pergola. I thank you for your advice. Maureen
