10 year old Chinese wisteria tree

Our Chinese wisteria tree is now 10 years old and has been blooming for five years. We won't let it get any taller than it is now. We need to let a few new growth get long in the mid section to fill that area in a bit.

I was hoping the five year old Japanese wisteria tree would bloom this year but it's not cooperating :-( Maybe next year...
