If the seeds were stored properly (cool, dry place) they should be fine.

Morning Glory seeds have a very hard shell so scoring them before planting will often result in faster germination.

Look for my thread. Maybe, the soaking will work for you. I soaked my moonflower for 24 hours and worked pretty well. It might work with morning glory. Good luck!

Oh ok so the year they were packed for shouldn't be an issue in that case I shall pot them up with some cypress vines for an inside planter
