should i trim muscadine vines when grapes are on vines

We have muscadine grape vines here in Ocala Fl and my grape vines 60 total are on long tressels (sp).The plants are 4 years old and have a good many grapes on the vines.My question is the runners or vines that donot have grapes growing on them should we keep them cut back so more nutrients can go to the vines that do have the grapes on them?

Thanks for any help on this subject
