Campsis radicans

As much as I've complained about this vine and my 10+ year losing battle trying to kill it, it really is gorgeous in full bloom. I've managed to keep it contained along a 30' section of the fence in the far back yard. It's covered in bright orange flowers which are covered with colorful insects and hummers. Of course I'll start hating it again as soon as the blooms fade. lol

Here I am trying so hard to coax my "Flava" along. I got vine eyes and guide wires installed. It gets fish and seaweed emulsion, liquid fertilizer and compost tea. This is its 3rd year and it is slowly _trying_ to climb up the chimney stack. Hmmm..... such is life!

Ben I'd stop being nice to it. I've never fed mine anything besides Round-up. lol This plant thrives in poor soil with absolutely no attention.
