| I would like to plant some trumpet creeper on a sunny fence and on some utility poles. I have what appear to be a wild red variety and a yellow variety on an existing fence (see images). Neither has what I would call prolific flowers. I'm debating whether to dig up some of the wild plants or ordering some Chinese trumpet creeper. I do want to attract hummingbirds, and I would like for the fence to be attractive. Which would be the better approach? If I just transplant some from the woods, what is the best procedure for transplanting? |
