Arum - There are alot of reasons that plants drop buds or the blooms fail to open up fully and 'remote' diagnosis is 'difficult'...

Make sure the plants are getting enough water...insufficient nitrogen and/or phosphorus can cause reproduction problems as well as a deficiency of any of the important trasce minerals...

There is a myth that MG's 'do not like fertilizer' and that is not true...MG's are tolerant of poor nutrition conditions but prefer a good balance of all of the Macro and MIcro nutrients...

If the plants are blooming already try some Nitrogen and/or some Bloom Booster containg phosphorus...fish emulsion and liquid kelp are great for trace elements...many trace elements not considered to be essential(!) are still helpful(!) in assisting plant metabolism...

Mine are doing the same.this is one.

I didn't catch this mornings.It just started blooming middle of July.I have it in more shade this year and not a hanging basket.It does get fertilized some.
Arum got her seeds from me.
