| Does anyone have any advice on whether or not I could grow and train a wisteria (perhaps Blue Moon or Lavender Falls) along a split-rail fence about 3.5 feet tall and 20 feet long in full sun?
Is the fence too low for wisteria? Are those varieties fragrant? Would I expect blooms the first year after transplanting a whole plant from a 1 gallon container? |

| I've trained a trumpet vine along a similar fence, and had considered doing the same with wisteria. The primary downside is getting to your neighbor's side of the fence to trim and train :-) |
