Can't get my morning glories to go to seed

Last year I got some morning glory seeds and got them planted this year in this cedar planter box with a trellis attached to it that I built. The two plants are doing great and blooming profusely... this morning there was over 20 blooms on it! The one thing that is frustrating me is I can not get it to seed! I don't know if there is something I should be doing or what. Does anyone have any pointers on how to get seeds from it? After the blooms fade and what not, it looks like a seed pod is starting to develop but then in a day or so it turns brown and falls off. Is there something I am doing wrong? Please let me know if you have any suggestions!

Thanks,

Matt
