wild vine covering house

A wild vine has been growing up my exterior walls for several years. It's covering about 50% of the front of my 2-story home. We actually kinda like it but I am wondering if it will eventually cause damage to my home. I try my best to keep it trimmed from the roof, windows, and gutters but it's pretty difficult for a 2-story home. I live near Dallas in a brick home with wood trim. Sorry but I have no clue what kind of vine it is but it seems to peel away very easily when I do trim it.

A photo or little more description is needed. Shape, size and color of the leaf, does the plant flower (if so describe those please) or set berries. Is it evergreen or does it drop leaves in winter?

My only other suggestion would be to take a leaf or sprig to a local area nursery and ask for an ID.
