I looked for the "RED" Hyacinth Bean for years. I think someones trying to pull our leg. One site offered it, and when I pointed out their "wording" was off, they changed the wording, removing the word red. Nah, don't think there is such a thing. IF you find it, please email me. :) Arum

On Kitazawa Seed's site the picture of Akahana Fujimame looks like Dolichos vs. Phaseolus, but the flowers seem purple, even though the description claims they're red. (Another variety they offer, Murasakiirohana Fujimame, looks pretty interesting!) I've never seen or heard of a true red-flowering Dolichos.
