I'm the one that sent you the "emma's Gift morning glory seeds and probably several other morning glory seeds for either trade or SASBE. Can't remember which off hand.

Those are just beautiful pictures of Emma's Gift.

Yes both of them are Emma also known as Aomaraski.

One of the many things I love about this morning glory is the variety of different blooms that you will get and you have 2 of them in those pics.

I've posted a link below that will give you pics of many of the various blooms that you may or may not get from the vines.

this is a vigorous bloomer once it gets going and will just bloom and bloom well into the fall, until the frost gets it and you will have tons of seeds from it as well.

Don't be surprised if you see many different variations of the blooms all at one time either.

All at one time I've had both of the pics you posted, along with just about pure white, half solid purple and half solid white and anything in between.

My original seeds came from a GW member here who crosses her own morning glory plants to create new ones. This one is one of her crosses that she originally named "emma's gift" and then added the Aomaraski.

Many thanks for clearing that up for me! It is a lovely morning glory. I grew it last year too, and was so impressed that I decided to give it a rerun! I also have a small-flowered, pink-striped one--called Strawberry Cream Swirl--that is quite similar except for the color of the stripes.
