Help ID this vine

Saw this vine growing on a fence in the neighborhood. Initially thought it is some form of jasmine plant. But suddenly the big fat seedpods caught my eye and realized it is not a jasmine. The seedpod is about 3 and a half inches long and slightly different shape from a chayote squash. When I pulled an unripe pod from the vine a white milky sap started coming out of it. What is this vine? Is the pod edible or poisonous?

One of those leaves looks kind of like an orchid. I just watched a video on vanilla orchids- it's not that but it might be related.

Araujia isn't related to Orchids. If you look at the flowers you'll see they are not at all orchid-like. Flowers are a much better guide to pant id than leaves.
