I would really like to try this out. Does anyone have any rooting that they might be willing to share with me?

This is considered an invasive species. I would reconsider planting any of it. Try something else like a Native Honeysuckle.

Was invasive for me in NC after a few years in the ground. I had volunteers popping up all over my yard and the neighbors' yards as well so it was removed. On top of that, the vines attract japanese beetles like the plague.
