My boyfriend has this large wooden ladder like structure hes going to make into a feeding station for my birds. Id like to have it covered in vines that attract birds. Also im looking for some clematis seeds sweet aurumb and red cypress vine if you know of a source. . Thank you.

While they are vigorous and could bury the feeding station, unless trimmed away, from time to time, I would recommend any form of the native Lonicera sempervirens, like 'Clayton's', 'Magnifica', 'Alabama Crimson' or 'Col. Wheeler'. Perfectly designed for Ruby Throated Hummingbirds. Occasional red berries, also. A mass of scentless blooms in Spring, with occasional flowers until frost.

What kind of birds? If you want humming birds, trumpet vines would work. Be warned...they spead like crazy.

What about some kind of gape or wild strawbery?

I wouldn't worry too much about the bids finding the feeder.

Virginia Creeper, Honey Suckle, although pretty these can be invasive. Unless your Honeysuckle isn't the wild kind. :) Arum
