I am truly a lucky person to grow this fabulous asagao (Japanese word for morning glory); its name is 'Ginro'. Maybe wasabe_2009 can tell us what Ginro means. All I know it means beautiful, with deep blue flowers and white tube, contrasted with yellow-green variegated leaves. It is a knock-out flowering vine!
Joseph, all I can say is WOW! Actually I have one very similar, although I think it is a lighter shade. Would the seeds to that MG be a light brown like peanut butter? :) Arum
Thank you everyone!! This one was one of my faves last year for certain. It rivals Akatsuki no Umi for blue color intensity.
Arum, your JMG sounds awesome too. My vine made dark brown colored seeds. I think seed color may be a bit variable within a given strain. I have Blue Silk strains that make the tan colored seeds and also dark seed forms.
