Does this vine normally bloom twice a year? I've had this one for a few years but this is the first time I'm seeing blooms in the fall. Maybe it's bloomed in the fall in the past and I never noticed it? There's nowhere near as many flowers as are in late spring/early summer but it's still a nice show.

Karyn, I have 3 different ones and there are two in bloom now - they bloom off and on all spring/summer/fall here.

Thanks Jo. That's the only trumpet type vine I have besides the evil Campsis radicans. It might very well have bloomed more then once in the past and I never noticed it. It's in an area of the back yard that I don't pay much attention to.

Mine blooms profusely in the Spring then much less so in the Fall, but still enough to enjoy. I do remember reading that it is supposed to bloom in both Spring and (less so) in Fall. I also get an occasional bloom or two during the Summer.
