I've tried growing this a couple times but never got any blooms. It's not hardy here (the tuber rotted) and I guess my growing season isn't long enough. The vine was too big to move it into the greenhouse over the winter. Maybe I should have tried cutting it back? I love those bright yellow blooms. There's one growing at the local conservatory and it's huge!
I have one. It's in it's first year, and my plan is to try to keep it from going dormant this year by bringing it indoors or keeping it going in my greenhouse. I'm going to transplant it next spring into a much larger container. In future years I will have to allow it to go dormant and move the container so the tuber doesn't get cold and wet.
