Hi all, first post here, so I apologize if I am posting in the wrong forum, but this seems to be the most relevant for what I am looking for.

I am considering buying a fire pit to keep under my trellis. The problem is that the trellis is covered in a mature vine. The base of the trellis is brick, and the "roof" is approximately 10-11 feet high. I am wondering if an open fire pit would do damage to the vines or the trellis itself. My guess is that this pit would be about 1.5 feet off the ground.
