Often, just showing seeds with part of a pod as the only reference is not going to get very good ID results.........many seeds look very similar :-)

But yes, of course you can grow wisteria from seed. You just need to be extremely patient, as the Asian species can take as much as 20 years to bloom when grown from seed. American species take less time but still need to reach a specific maturity of about 8-10 years before blooming. Much of the cultivated wisteria sold for gardens is grafted so that it blooms reliably at a young age.

Yes. I started some this summer. They are about 4" tall right now. I'll winter them in the house and plant in the fall. Love trying expeirments!! The seeds came from a vine in a ditch in Ga! We'll see!!
