harvest pods now?

Hi, this is my first try at Cypress and Hyacinth bean vines, they did okay since I planted them kind of late. The hyacinth bean vine has gotten pods, should i pick them now? Is there a good time, the vine is still flowering, sort of, but we're do for our first frost any time now.

You want to be sure that the hyacinth bean pods are ripe. They should feel very full. The pods will discolor and the shell will thin out when the seeds are ripe. A light frost shouldn't hurt unripe seeds but a freeze will.
