130, wow that is a lot!. It can grow over 10' tall... you must have over thousand ' length of Chain link that need to cover. Hope the experts to chime in .

I'm certainly no expert but know this is a recipe for disaster for about any perennial planting, and you've described plants that are drowning. Watering deeply much less frequently *when the plants need it, not by a schedule* would be much better. After 5 months, plants should be fairly well established and no longer needing much supplemental water. I would turn off the irrigation until/unless I saw some wilting. What is at the base of your vines? Mulch?

Purple is right about the watering, but the fact is we have no idea how much water your drip system was actually delivering per cycle. Typically, fifteen minutes of drip isn't a whole lot of water. Or, you might be drowning your plants!

Without a doubt, this is a plant that needs no additional watering once established. That's one of the reasons why we like it.
