Coral Vine (Antigonon leptopus) was a favorite when I lived in Sarasota, Florida. Now that I reside in the Outer Banks of North Carolina (Zone 8b) I'm wondering if the coral vine I grew from seed this year--it's now six feet tall and full of blooms--will overwinter and come back from the roots or will I need to dig and store the tuber (like a dahlia) to guarantee its return?
