| Hi,
I have a medium sized Honeysuckle vine that I'd like to take off the trellis and use as a groundcover. Has anyone used honeysuckle as a groundcover? Pros/cons? Thanks! Jen |

| I used japanese honeysuckle as a ground cover and it worked great on a slope, rooted all along the stems in contact with the soil. It got to be about 2 feet thick though, and when I had to remove an area of it, it was a bear to pull out. But, I'd do it again. The scent was glorious in the late spring/early summer. Yes I know it's not native, and invasive so no lectures here please. |
