Shade vines

Hi:
I am trying to relocate some things in a new garden/new home landscape and have found many of the things I planted in the spring do not get sun as the trees fill out. Duh!

Anyway I am in zones 4a and 3b and would like to know some vines that will grow fast in semi to more shade.

Any experienced help would really be appreciate. Thanks.

I am by no means an expert, but I grew up in Superior, Wisconsin and my mother had a Clematis that survived winters there. Maybe a Clematis cultivar would work for you? Have you talked to local garden centers or the County Extension Service for advice of what might be successful in your part of the world?
