The stamens are modified by mutation into little flags in this reverse tube Japanese Morning Glory.

Joseph - I would consider the flower to be more of a pseudo-windmill because if it wasn't for the factor of the reverse tube in combination with the anthers and / or stigma turning into petaloids (thus making the filaments and style more visible) this would then more simply be a double I.nil...quite unlike the other type of Windmill that Nobu has that is neither double or reverse tube.

The Japanese often mislabel their MG's.

It's what the eBay vendor called it so that is why I am calling it this name.
