Vigna Caracalla Seed Question

Has anyone saved and planted seed from a Corkscrew Vine whose seed came from Park Seed. I have 2 healthy vines, full of pods, that I started from Park Seed. Nowhere in the description does it say the seed were hybrid. Will the new seeds come back true to form?

I don't know about seeds specifically from Park but they should be like any other Corkscrew vine seed and grow true.

Thanks Karyn. I hope they grow true, I guess time will tell.

I think I will try some cuttings too.

I got cuttings one year from a generous V. caracalla owner... just about every one of them rooted in plain water! I think, though, that I overwatered after I potted them up and I suspect they died of root rot... one by one... over the span of two months. It was sad, but I learned something about letting the soil dry out once in a while ;]. Subsequent cuttings of other plants have benefitted from this lesson.

I hope you have better results with your V. caracalla than I did. Best wishes!
