Confederate Jasmine question

It's not hardy for my area. Will it bloom in my area if grown as annual?

RE: Confederate Jasmine question

They sell them in bloom here, and if you bought a large one, I don't see why it wouldn't continue to bloom. I love the fragrance, but that particular plant is really not supposed to be hardy in this zone, and I killed two of them before I planted my current one in a little more sheltered area. It is five years old now and beautiful in bloom.

It is worth a try to grow as an annual. Good luck.

RE: Confederate Jasmine question

Some people in Minnesota seem to manage to overwinter them indoors, so I imagine you could too.

Here is a link that might be useful: Trachelospermum jasminoides

Thanks. I emailed one of the posters there. :D
