Joseph, it is about 60 degrees, but it is drafty by the window. Not much like a greenhouse. :) arum

I think you might need more light. Even a sunny exposure isn't enough this time of year. I'd put up a grow light so that the total hours of intense light per day is 14-16. If you use a light other then fluorescent it will put out some additional heat. Good luck.

In addition it should be warmer to keep the vine happy. An additional light source that is somewhat close to the plant may give that extra heat.

Karyn and Joseph, you both seem to have hit the nail on lthe head. My MG's outside sulk every year,(so unlike the neighbors who grow the common ones), because for one thing it's not hot enough when I plant them. Don't you think these special JMG take more care? :) Arum

They are worth it, I think. BTW Bold Miss Piggy is making more flowers - it has such a vivid red!

Yes, like a gift every morning! You know Joseph, I never did get the true idenity of "Bold Ms. Piggy", but she's a real looker,glad you like her, and she will also be gracing my fence this summer. :) Arum
