Hyacinth Bean Vine Beans

My vines were beautiful this year and I wanted to pick some beans for next year; however it is about to P.M. freeze and my beans are still purple. If it gets cold are my seeds unusable. I've heard of hanging beans inside if this happens. I have seeds from last year but will they be good for planting next spring? Thanks for your help.

Karen these beans stay good for YEARS. I can't imagine EVER planting them and them not coing up. Aside from MG"s this is my favorite vine. Yes, just cut of branchs of beans, and hange them inside. Make sure the beans are wel formed inside. Also, do yu have the white. It is fragrant, but not quite as showy as the purple. I ahve one tht has pods that are white, with a purple line. Love the Hyacinth Bean Vine! :) Arum

Thanks Arum. I have really enjoyed my vine this year. In the past I have purchased seeds in packets, with not one bloom; but last year one of the vines bloomed and I was able to get seeds. All the vines bloomed this year. I too really love this vine. Thanks again.
