Is this a Violet?

| This is an image of a little (I think Violet) plant that came up out of nowhere on my porch. Does anyone know...is it a wild violet, a dropped seed from the previous folks who may have lived here...or something else?
In the midst of Winter, it is STILL in blossom and growing. Kind of amazing, but honestly, it has little flowers all over it. They're pinkish lavender.

| Nope, that looks like Cymbalaria muralis, also known as Kenilworth ivy, which is a charming little plant and most likely to have been planted by some previous gardener. It's distantly related to snapdragons, which you can see a resemblance to in the little flowers even though the plant is otherwise entirely different. Stefan |

| Thank you so much. After looking up Cymbalaria muralis in google, that is exactly what it looks like. I appreciate your help :) |
