Viola seed sources

Hello,

I am looking for seed sources for the following Viola species (not cultivars, if possible):

V. altaica (almost impossible to find)
V. lutea
V. gracilis

The one seller of such species I have found is at www.rareplants.de, but not many other businesses have wide collections of Viola seed from what I can find. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks all,

Dan

RE: Viola seed sources

I haven't seen these anywhere myself, so your best chances are to keep your eyes on the foreign seed sources and hope for the best, or perhaps some of the American nurseries that specialize in alpine plants or their seeds. Some of them patronize foreign seed collectors, so it's worth keeping an eye open. Siskiyou Rare Plant Nursery, Arrowhead Alpines, and Rocky Mountain Rare Plants are just a few.
