A yard without violets

I moved about 15 miles from my old house, which had copious purple violets and a few white ones. They grew everywhere and never received any help from me. Now I am out in farm country living on five acres that was in crops only a year or two ago. There are zero violets here! I dug a few from a friend's house (she used to be my neighbor in my previous house) and planted them here last summer. I have no idea if they will be back in the spring. Is there a catalog that sells these "wild" violets? I really want to establish them all over my yard.
Thanks.

Wow, thank you Nathalie!!!! I was hoping to find the species violet that grows like a weed around here. I had no idea there were so many to choose from. I'm going to call Canyon Creek and place an order for as many as they feel will do well in my zone. Mudlady |
