I need help identifying a violet plant. My friend has one and now I want one. It is very pretty with very little green and a bunch of either what may be light pink or lavender in the leaves. The leaves are also curly around the edges. Sorry, I do not have a picture. Can someone help me?

Thanks.

Hi !

Well well well...curly around the edges ??
About having pink or lavender in the leaves:
- could be viola mars, but it's not "pretty".
- could be viola riviniana purpurea (labradorica) but it's not "light colored" at all.
- could be viola Ooh la la: is it that one ??
And I'm only talking about american violets...
With a pic it can be very difficult to identify a violet sometimes, but without anyone, God !!!

All the best
Thierry

Nope....that is not it, but thanks for trying. I am going home at lunch to get my camera. You guys have got to see this plant. I was amazed. I thought it was fake.

RE: Pink Violet

It couldn't be Viola mandshurica 'Fuji Dawn', could it?
