White violet identification

This white violet is fragrant and stoloniferous but it has a hooked spur and long narrow anther spur and forms thick scaly rhizomes. Can it be Viola odorata? Or perhaps a hybrid? It grows near but not necessarily in gardens around Santa Cruz.
