Wild Viola ID please

I'm hoping that someone can identify these tiny native viola's that grow here in the Ozarks. Thank you

Well, the photo is so small and we can't see the leaves.
Must be a pansy, not a violet, but...not sure !:-/ Don't you have any web site talking about wild plants in your big corner of the world ?

i agree with thierry your viola seems to be in the 'pansy' part of the family. i would suggest your very sweet viola might be viola rafinesquii. i have never seen this before except in baird's book of wild violets of north america.

it's just a guess, ok!?

I tend to agree - go search for pictures of Viola rafinesquii or Viola bicolor (the current/correct name) in google, see if they agree your plant.

Here is a link that might be useful: one example - a pale one, but they vary
