Hi, I was curious as to know if there was any method to grow the wood violets from seed? The wild violet i found was n the wild with White and Blue markings on the flower and one that was entirely blue/purple. Anyon have any ideas on how to grow the seed of this one?

RE: Wood Violet

The easiest way is to sow it, as fresh as possible, directly outside in a patch of dappled shade or perhaps a pot. It will most likely come up next spring, but it's hard to say if the seedlings will have the unique traits you saw in the parent plant. On the other hand, you could get a lot of interesting variations!
