Odorata Hybrids

Here's a picture of what else is blooming now from my odorata hybridizing:

The picture shows the orange-colored, Viola odorata 'Sulphurea' [at the top];

the F1 (first generation) offspring from pollen of Viola odorata 'Clive Groves' [in the middle];

and three of the more distinctive F2 (second generation) offspring [at the bottom]

I'll post close-ups of those three seedlings as separate postings.

Hope you enjoy, Tom

That's fantastic!! great job Tom and congratulations!

Isn't it amazing the unexpected result from a crossing!?

and guess what could have be the surprise for those who raised double or semi-doubles forms in the past!
