I live near St. Louis, MO. I have tried in the past to grow viola rotundifolia, round leaf yellow violet, but have not had good luck. Can anyone give me some tips on what it takes to get this interesting violet established in my yard?

RE: Round leaf Yellow Violet

my texts note this violet is a woodlander with preference for cool, moist conditions, rich (acid) soil. klaber suggests it makes a good ground cover when happy.
hope this is of some use.
