looking for seeds

Hello-

I'm trying to find seeds of Viola japonica and Viola mandshurica which I could purchase, or possibly do a trade for.....I don't want to get any special cultivars or special varieties.....I'm just looking for the straight, simple type plants......such as ones that would commonly be found in the wild. Thanks much. Robert (plantboy@earthlink.net)

RE: looking for seeds

All I have is Viola Odorata (sweet violet) plants. I didn't know they made seeds.. mine make sort of shallow, short, root-runner things almost. I have some to trade, if you're interested.

So that's what they are!

Oh.. those root things are called stolons. I just found out.
