Problem with violet leaves

Posted by lunatic z7 GA (My Page) on

I have some dark purple wild violet plants that I transplanted in front of some azaleas a couple years ago. They were getting to be a good size. After they bloomed this year the leaves changed overnight and it looked like something had cut them off at the soil line. Are there diseases or problems that the wild violets have? What could have caused the leaf drop?
Thanks for any info on this.

RE: Problem with violet leaves

If the plants are totally gone they may have rotted..... if they look cut I'm sure it was an insect.......
