| Help, help! I got some violets a couple of summers ago and they are taking over my world. They've spread everywhere in my large flower bed, and have even sprouted legs and ran around the house??? showing up in beds forty feet away and have crept into the lawn and ivy. They were cute and for a VERY short while have pretty flowers. I've tried pulling them up, and spraying them and they just keep coming. WHAT should I do aside from a weapon of mass destruction!!

i've always considered ivy more a garden bed weed than violets! :)
