National Viola and Pansy Society Annual Show

| Greetings fellow enthusiasts.If anyone should be in the Birmingham area on Saturday June 12th,do come to the annual show which is held in St Johns Church,Harborne.The hall is open from 9.00a.m. and judging takes place at 1.00p.m.The show officially opens at 2.00p.m..Entrance is free and there is carparking available.There will be all types on show from the blowsy Florists Fancy Pansies,to species such as V.Corsica and V.Stojanowii,with a host of good sorts inbetween.This is a chance to meet fellow enthusiasts and maybe pick up a little treasure or two from the plant sale.All are welcome.Come and visit,come and put up an exhibit and help to make the show.Conntact me for more details or directions.I look forward to seeing some new faces. kind regards John Snocken.Hon Secretary N.V.P.S. |

| Dear Friends, We know you had a lovely National Viola and Pansy Society Annual Show. The theme for our up-coming Violet Society Journal, Summer 2004, will be "Violas and Pansies". Perhaps some of you who attended the Show could share some things concerning the Show. If you would like to submit an article for our Summer 2004 Issue, the deadline is August 20th. Perhaps others of you would like to share some Viola and/or Pansy information. An article is approximately 250 words with photo(s). These articles and photos are to be sent to me by e-mail, by August 20th. Hoping to hear from many of you!
