Venus fly traps

Its winter in South Africa now and I have a few Venus Fly traps that are still green and none of the traps are turning brown or going off. I am also still topping their drip trays with rain water. They get full sun in the afternoons from a west facing window. Should I put them into a dark room and let them "rest" till spring or just leave them where they are?
