Trying to Identify Violet Wildflower

I have searched the web in an attempt to identify a violet that grows in the woods next to our home.

I have attached a picture of one of the plants in bloom, the colors in photograph are stronger than in real life (azaleas are really a light pink) along with the pictureof the flower is a sketch I made of one of the unusual leaves and it's stalk.

Information:

The early leaves (basal ?) are shaped much like common violet leaves with same medium green color of violet leaves.

Later leaves are a variety of shapes, virtually no two alike, color darker shade of green but not as dark as " Forest Green".

I have only seen one bloom per plant and it lasts for no more than 5 days.

The flower with five petals, has two slightly large upper petals at 10 and 2 o'clock. The three lower petals are at approx. 4, 5, and 6 o'clock

Flower color is a beautiful, bluish violet with a center that is a muted yellowish color.

Leaves are somewhat palmated (sp?)
