Growing Violets Again!

Posted by Violetvamp 7a/Virginia,USA (My Page) on

Thank God I can get on the forum again! My comp wasn't letting me on for months!Thank you all who responded to my message "growing violets"in April or May.I ordered 6 new violets and they are doing fine thanks to your comments!Especially the comments on the parmas. Now I have 10 or so violet varieties and am awaiting the blooms next year. What is a good mulch for violets in winter?I was advised not to use a soggy mulch. So what is the best for the parmas? And how can I do cuttings or divisions to keep indoors in case I lose any? Thanks again everyone!!

Good to hear that you have made it back again and I am sure some of our expert growers will be in again to help.
