Thanks, Nathalie. The wheelbarrow container allows me to control the acidity and keep the plants in sun and not overshadowed by neighboring plants in the garden. I water with rain water, not alkaline tap water. I can move the wheelbarrow to more sun, too. The white is Grani-grit, not perlite.

| Hi ! Gorgeous pic :-)))))) That's fun, mine is making one white flower among all the others (normal blue): did someone ever find the same ? I knew some white pedata existed, but I'm really surprised to see one pedata making different flowers. I'll try to make a pic later, when the bloom will be totaly opened...that viola is really one of my favorite one...I'm so sad not to be successful in any cross :-/ Nath', U know U bad girl ! Super piccy, Carol ! Your plants seem to love it in there - you definitely have green fingers. ...while I and many others who have tried to grow V. pedata have to make do with green envy :) Mike |
