viola odorata, possible to grow indoors?

Hello,

I am interested in purchasing a Viola Odorata plant (specifically, the pink fragrant violet on Logees), but I don't have a way to grow plants outdoors. I have south facing windows, some with screens on them so they don't get as much full sun as the windows with no screen on them.

I see that the Violas need quite cold temperatures to bloom, 30-40 degrees it says on the Logees website.

I live in a highrise building in Chicago, so the temperatures will get quite cold in the winter. The windows are very thick since it is a high-rise, but I'm sure it should still be quite cold next to the window. I'm wondering if the Viola would be able to do well if I grow it indoors since it will possibly get the cold temperature it needs. When spring/summer comes back and the temperatures rise, will the plant die?

Is it wishful thinking that I could grow this plant indoors?
