Do a violet's children need their own space?

Enchanted by its beauty, i collected a small viola sorroria from under my deck a few months ago. Since it has grown much, and looks beautiful. the other week small leaves began to appear around the base of the plant and they grew intoleaves smaller than the ones on the original viola. I'm quite sure these are baby plants. If they are, do they need to be replanted elsewhere, and when?

By now I am sure you have found that your violet's "children" do need their own space and quickly run wild! Sororias scatter seeds like crazy and turn up in unexpected places. They can be re-planted more or less any time - hope your violet family is growing well.
